Project Walk Spinal Cord Injury Recovery Center, an internationally recognized organization, exists to provide an improved quality of life to people with a spinal cord injury. Project Walk offers several programs to meet the needs of the SCI community and optimize our clients’ chances for recovery. Project Walk San Francisco / Bay Area exists to provide an improved quality of life for people living with a spinal cord injury through intense activity-based recovery, education, training, research and development. Blood Brothers Foundation is a non-profit organization that provides support to individuals living with spinal cord injuries by funding vehicle modifications. We assist individuals with adaptive devices for vehicles that include, but aren’t limited to:

Florida Spinal Cord Injury Resource Center
The Brain and Spinal Cord Injury Program (BSCIP) administers a statewide coordinated system of care to serve persons who have sustained moderate-to-severe traumatic brain and/or spinal cord injuries. The Program is mandated by Chapter 381, F.S., to provide eligible persons the opportunity to obtain the necessary rehabilitative services enabling them to be referred to a vocational rehabilitation program or to return to an appropriate level of functioning in their community.

We, along with the rest of the world, hope for a cure for paralysis in our lifetime. Regardless of whether the cure comes in 5, 10 or 50 years, we believe that individuals with spinal cord and other neurological injuries should pursue increased physical functionality and fitness. While researchers seek the remedy, our mission is to improve the lives and functionality of individuals with these injuries by providing an environment in which to rehabilitate, recover and stay fit.
Push to Walk
Push to Walk offers specialized one-on-one workouts for people with spinal cord injuries and paralysis who want to regain strength, function and independence. Using the principles of weight bearing, whole body exercises and repetitions, we design individualized workouts to help each person reach his or her goals. Our gym is a very positive yet challenging environment, offering information, resources and camaraderie in addition to exercise workouts.

Project Walk Austin is a physical training program for people with spinal cord injuries where hard work leads to greater confidence, independence, mobility,…and Hope. Our mission is to help people regain their lives on their feet and out of their chairs. We want to provide improved quality of life for people with spinal cord injuries and other disabilities through intense exercise-based recovery programs, education, support, encouragement and financial assistance. We believe that, by providing an uplifting atmosphere full of committed trainers and clients, we will keep hope alive for those that have had it all but crushed.
