John
Fioriti
North Easton,
Massachusetts John F. Fioriti, Jr. began working for NSCIA
in 1986, after gaining management experience in a fast growing business,
Au Bon Pain, which grew from 4 stores to over 125 locations. John
has a BA from the University of New York at Albany with a dual major
in Political Science and Psychology and a minor in business. He utilized
his business knowledge to help over 300 people with disabilities
find employment and develop their careers. When the national office
moved from Boston to the DC area in 1995, John assisted with the
transition and helped the Greater Boston Chapter grow from a small
support group with a $10,000 budget, into an agency providing new
injury and many support services with an annual budget over $350,000.
He has attended, Not Dead Yet rallies, ADAPT demonstrations, and
is an active supporter of disability rights and issues. |
